This week, Hip-Hop has lost an icon. Nathaniel "Nate Dogg" Hale has passed on at the age of 41, leaving behind an artistic legacy that will surely go down as one of the dopest in Rap culture. Words will never be able to express the incomparable contributions that this man gave to the growth in sound and the mark he left as a musical representative of the West Coast. It is the hope of myself and many others, I am sure, that future Hip-Hop artists take a page from his book, and remember to put the music first.
