So I wanted to wait to post this until I saw that Universal had OK'ed the Vevo sponsored YouTube vlog, but it looks like Nicki Minaj's team was happy enough with the response to the MTV/BET video premiere of "Right Thru Me" to finally post an embed-able version. As I've said, I really enjoy the song, and the video satisfies the song content. After seeing her perpetuate the whole character-rapstress-barbie-doll brand for the past few videos, it's really nice to watch Nicki step outside her image and play herself, Onika Maraj (or 'Cookie,' for those who know). For those who didn't know, Nicki is a LaGuardia High School grad (Drama studies major), so I like that she's using her stage skills to improv the relationship issues with the male character (who, by the way, looks like he walked straight out of NYC's Chelsea district. That's all I'll say, LOL). But the honest emotional factor really rings through in this, so I cosign the vid.

Oh, and hey, if you haven't seen/heard it already, here's my remix to this song below. We'll see how long UMG allows it to stay up, now that I've posted it as a video response to the above post, LOL!
